You know as well as I do that change is inevitable, and the pace of change is skyrocketing.

That scares a lot of us. As people we feel threatened. More and more of what used to be jobs done by humans are being replaced by automation. So where does that leave a role for workers? And companies are struggling to change quickly enough to adapt to the rising demands of customers.
I've been exploring change in two ways lately:
- For my upcoming book, PeopleShock: Solving the Dreaded People Problem, For Customer & Business Success. The book excerpt, As More Gets Automated, Is There Still A Role For People In Businesses?, has generated a lot of interest.
- My friend, Mariana Konsolos, and I have just launched the Talking About Change podcast and project. Here we explore the personal impact of change, and how, as individuals, we can handle it better. If you've ever wondered about the real Tema Frank behind my public professional persona, check it out. My change challenge is reveal more of myself, even to colleagues!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on both aspects of change. How do you deal with it? How is your organization dealing with it?
